Something to Whet Your Appetite

If you’ve been following the blog for any length of time, I’m sure you’re aware what we’re doing here:  Making the greatest Horror Comedy the world has ever seen.

Amidst all the discussions on filmmaking philosophies and the movies that inspired us, we’ve been working tirelessly towards that goal.  And now we’re on the final stretch to getting it done.  Well, getting it shot at least.

So in celebration of our official preproduction status and to get you as excited as we are for this movie, I have a little something for you.  As you may recall, this past October I made a big stink about a test shoot that we did during our run up to AFM, where in we shot a scene from the movie (but not for the movie) as a proof of concept.  Well, the day has come to finally reveal that scene to you, and we couldn’t be more excited about it.  So please sit back and prepare to have your socks rocked for the next minute and 15 seconds, I’ll catch you on the other side.

Pretty rad, right? And that’s only the barest taste of what the movie has to offer; just wait for when we do that scene for real!

In the meantime, I’d like to offer a heartfelt thanks to everyone that gave us a hand that day, from the actors Jade Carter and Marissa Skell, to the DP Justin Martinez and his crew of Jorge Urbina, John Roney, and James Martinez.  Production design by Jonathan Bell, costumes by Adam Sabodish, sound by Mike O’Heney, Script Supervision by Corey Levin, Makeup by Maribel Moreno, Special Effect Makeup by Miora Taylor and Robert Pendergraft, and the great Rob Overbeck as our AD.

It was a fantastic shoot and really set the tone for what’s going to happen in May.  Hold on to your butts folks, because shit’s about to get real!
