Scenes From Cinequest, Day 4

March 12, 2014

Monday involved seeing a lot of great films and screening Love In The Time Of Monsters in the evening. We also got a chance to check out the San Jose State campus, and even eat at the famous Psycho Donuts Shop. (Official donut shop of Psycho Monkeys!) This place has donuts with all kinds of things on them, including a S’mores donut and one with bacon on it.  Really good! (There’s a reason this place was named best donut in the bay area 3 years running)

That evening I checked out some great films, including A Birder’s Guide To Everythingwhich was a fantastic coming of age story that co-starred Ben Kingsley.  It’s being released soon in theater’s and on VOD, I highly recommend it.

Finally we arrived at the second Cinequest screening of LiTToM. Even on a “school night” we had a really nice sized crowd, and plenty of them stayed after to ask us questions.  An upside of this screening was also the fact that the A/C was working, so it wasn’t blazing hot like the premiere night.  Everybody seemed to enjoy it, and we got lots of cool questions and feedback at the Q&A.  Overall it was another very successful screening! We even got a return visit from Barb Conrad, member of the Bigfoot Discovery Museum in Felton, CA. She had seen the film on Saturday and came back to give us a pair of handmade bigfoot pins! So freaking cool.  Check them out below, along with some other photos from the day:

The Beautiful SJSU campus. BTW the water has been spectacular the whole time we've been here.

We didn't get any photos of our Q&A session Monday, so here's a flashback photo from the World Premiere Saturday.
