About

We’re three brilliant young filmmakers living in LA and-

Kidding.  Well, sort of.  We are three brilliant young filmmakers, but we’re not making an art house film here, we’re attempting to make the greatest Horror Comedy the world has EVER SEEN!  Or something like that.

We’re all big fans of the genre.  From Tremors to Evil Dead, Commando to Total Recall, or even Cloak and Dagger to Transformers the Movie (the 87 version, thank you), we love the movies from the past that filled us with wonder and tickled our imagination at every age.  We hope to imbue our film with the spirit of these classics.

ROLE CALL!

Matt Jackson:  Award-Winning Director, sometimes writer, and blogging stud.  Matt made a splash on the festival circuit with his comedy short Background(ed), and now is sharpening his bag of tricks for the feature Love in the Time of Monsters.  Lover of comics, terrible straight-to-video 80s movies, and a good beer, Matt has the vision to rock this joint.

Andy Gunn:  Award-Winning Producer, work-a-holic, writer, and banjo aficionado.  Andy spent time at Paramount and the UCLA Producer’s Program in between watching every movie on Netflix.  From the aforementioned Background(ed), to the dark and supernatural Perfect Creatures, with a few Fortune 500 projects sprinkled in, Andy brings boundless energy and practical knowledge to every project.

Mike Skvarla:  Brilliant writer, director, and frisbee champion of Upstate New York.  Mike has been writing scripts like they’ve been going out of style for years.  His incredible knack for dialogue is only matched by his spot on comedic timing and gory roots.  When the man writes, the characters and events leap off the page and beg to be brought to life.  This is his first collaboration with longtime friends Andy and Matt, and hopefully not the last.
